We are Windy City Winds, a community concert band in the city of Chicago.
We are 60 talented volunteer woodwind, brass and percussion players age 21 or older with experience playing at the college level.
We perform quality wind music in indoor and outdoor settings, primarily in north-side neighborhoods of Chicago. Our repertoire includes original wind music, orchestral transcriptions, film music, Broadway and popular medleys and marches.
We rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Lincoln Park.
Mark Mosley and Sarah Good Mosley co-founded Windy City Winds in September 2015. Mark and Sarah serve together as Music Directors and co-conductors.
